Lotterywest scholarship funds
Lotterywest has funded WAALC for scholarships to support delegates to attend the 2011 state conference in October.
To be eligible for this support, you must work for a not-for-profit organisation or undertake a relevant volunteer role.
Eligibility categories
- Committee member and other volunteer worker for the conference not able to be supported by your employer to attend
- Volunteer tutor coordinator or literacy tutor
- Employees from not-for-profit organisations delivering literacy and numeracy courses or wanting to learn more about foundation skills to apply in an adult context
- Indigenous educators and other workers from community organisations
- Presenters from other sectors not able to be supported by employer e.g. language centres, health sector, union etc
- Other: there are other circumstances so please contact us if you are unsure about your own situation.
